Master’s
Level Substance Abuse Counselor
Summary
Completes comprehensive assessments and treatment planning and provides
counseling services to clients. Develops and implements complex treatment and
discharge plans for clients with dual diagnoses, social or mental health issues.
Serves as professional resource to others in resolving complex case problems and
may provide clinical supervision as needed. Develops and may facilitate
trainings for treatment staff.
Minimum
Requirements
Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work or a related field.
Current LCSW/LCPC or CADC in state of Delaware. At least four years clinical
experience, with concurrent experience in the treatment of substance abuse and
dual-diagnoses. Related work experience with adults in a residential treatment
setting required. Position requires availability to work 12pm-8pm one evening
per week.
Summary
Provides clinical supervision to staff responsible for delivering services to
individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders. Oversees client
services and ensures compliance with established program standards and service
delivery objectives. Recruits, orients, trains, schedules and evaluates the
performance of assigned staff. Serves as a resource to assigned staff in
identifying and resolving complex case problems. Assumes client caseload in
response to work load or staffing shortages.

Requirements
Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling or equivalent experience
and LCSW/LCPC preferred. Current certification as a substance abuse counselor or
higher licensure in state of DE. Three to five years clinical experience in a
related field and supervisory experience required. Related work experience with
adults in a residential treatment setting required.
Brandywine Counseling, Inc. in Wilmington, Delaware is seeking a Prevention
Program Supervisor. The position is full time. Prior primary prevention and
supervisory experience is required. The Prevention Supervisor will be tasked
with the implementation of adult targeted prevention activities related to
Alcohol, Tobacco, Drug Abuse and Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Prevention.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) staff supervision,
hiring, reporting, communicating with community partners, organizing program
tasks and schedule. BS/BA required. Spanish speaking helpful. For more
